Hitting shelves in 1990, Air Jordan 5 combines the mesh side panels and a translucent sole. Taking inspiration from World War II fighter planes and Jordan’s biting style, Tinker Hatfield added “shark-teeth” into the sneaker's design along with the midsole.
The upcoming rendition of the Air Jordan 5 Retro SE "Oregon" is nearly identical to the original player's edition. Dressed in premium green suede, the upper is complemented by black accents. Instead of the original tongue design, a Jumpman logo adorns the 3M reflective tongue. Underfoot, the iconic shark teeth detailing in yellow and the icy outsole complete the design.
